NYSDEC BROWNFIELD CLEANUP PROGRAM

The approximately 1.1-acre brownfield site is located at 250 Water Street in New York, New York, and is identified as Manhattan Tax Block 98, Lot 1. The site occupies the entire city block bordered by Pearl Street to the northwest, Peck Slip to the northeast, Water Street to the southeast, and Beekman Street to the southwest. The site is currently an open-air commercial parking lot with one automated barrier gate along Pearl Street. Historical uses of the site include a factory, an oil company, a printer, a metal works, a chemicals and glue company, a chemical company, thermometer factories/workshops, a garage with two underground storage tanks, a machine shop, and a gasoline service station 
.

 Ms. Dodge is the founder and President of Excel Environmental Resources, Inc. (Excel) and has more than 32 years of experience as an environmental geologist and consultant. She is a recognized expert in contaminated property investigation, remedial action design, remediation implementation, and integration of remediation into redevelopment for industrial, military, commercial, residential, and municipal properties.
